The Official Site of The Four Horsemen. I still buy CDs but my LP collection and turntable are long gone. The album itself is AMAZING. I have both the first EP on vinyl Ill Records and NSIWE on CD. Dave, band was so f king great live Saw you play in front of at least DOZENS at such Hollywood clubs as the Whisky, X-Posure 54, and the Cathouse. High voltage rock and roll, like it was meant to be played, and thank god the album captured some of that. Report as Inappropriate. The book of rock n . The 4Horsemen wrote it Brad on Apr 04, 2018. Dave and Haggis- you guys just made my year. Video from The Four Horsemen's 1991 album Nobody Said It Was Easy. Uploaded from the band's Left For. The Four Horsemen. The Four Horsemen - Hot Head. Starr's whiskey and broken glass vocal style literally ignites the album's best moments, including the title track, Can't Stop Rockin', and the incredible Rockin' Is Ma' Business. And while Hot Head lifts its main riff directly from ACDC's Rock'n'Roll Damnation, the slightly more original Tired Wings actually received some MTV rotation thanks to its mellower Southern rock vibe and slide guitars. Their 1st full-length CD, called Nobody Said It Was Easy, was produced by legendary producer Rick Rubin. Their fame was fleeting but full of tragedy. Their original drummer Dimwit passed away from a drug overdose on September 27, 1994. Frank C. Starr was killed by a drunk driver while driving his motorcycle down Sunset Strip. Chaos had done time in Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction and briefly The Cult, but moved to LA, changed his name to Haggis, switched to rhythm guitar, wrote a bunch of songs, and formed the Four Horsemen with one Frank C Starr, a refugee from the NYC glam-metal scene. The songs were amped-up classic rockers, with all the hard rock crunch of the Cult mixed with Southern riff rock, and pushed right over the top by Starrs hyperactive screech. Too often on Nobody Said It Was Easy they sounded like other rockers. By Classic Rock 27 April 2020. Image: Def American
