There's something pure about the Super Meat Boy game, like sliced cheese and bread — it's almost as if, by their very existence, sandwiches had to be made. And they were. And then there was pickle.
And so it is with Super Meat Boy. He's a boy made of meat. A very square-shaped boy. A very red book. He's a boy made of raw meat and his challenge is to find his soulmate, girl, the one being in the world who can make him whole — bandage girl.
But his challenge is also to get past a lot, and I mean a LOT, of sharp revolving blades — Meat Boy, Bandage Girl, blades, you get the picture. This is platform gaming at its best!
This is a fun game. A very fun game. I love the design, the game play, the basic Meat Boy concept. It's both an ironic c;omment on platform games and a GREAT platform game in its own right.
